I can provide all kinds of quilting from simple edge-edge to edge pantographs to more elaborate custom and heirloom quilting.  I have an extensive collection of quilting patterns to choose from, and I would be happy to sit down and help you decide what type of quilting will really make your quilt shine!!

Minimum quilting charge

Turning quilt
(necessary when using a pattern in the borders that is directional)

$20.00 for the first turn; $5.00 for each additional turn, if necessary

$25.00 per hour, $25.00 minimum charge

Note: All prices are in cents per square inch, where $0.01 is 1 cent per square inch, $0.015 is 1.5 cents per square inch, etc. 

* When you drop your quilt off with me, I will let you know if I believe it needs to be pressed or squared.  This gives you the opportunity to do this yourself.  If you choose to have me do any of these items for you, I will quote you a price when you drop off the quilt.

To determine the square inches in your top, measure the length by the width to get square inches.  Multiply by the pricing service to get an estimate of the quilting costs.  For example, a 48 x 60 inch baby top would be 2,880 square inches.  An allover edge-to-edge pantograph of this quilt would be $57.60.

If you see a specific pantograph, stencil, or other pattern that you think you might like for your quilt, please bring the name of the pattern and the company that makes it.  Most major pattern and stencil companies have websites, and I can usually order the patterns and get them in a few days.

Thread

I have a large variety of thread and I can order in any colors that you would like.  Thread charges for standard cotton or cotton covered polyester thread are $4.00-$10.00 quilt, based upon quilt size and density of quilting.  Thread color changes are an additional $4.00 per color.  I can order in specialty threads, such as metallics.  Prices for specialty threads may vary, and I will give you the thread costs when we agree upon quilting services.
